Cut Down Lamiglas GSB 1201m (Spinning)- $180 meet up
Rod is cut 3-4" off the top. I also had a couple inches cut off and the butt and then later had it extended by an inch. All done by CMS. I like it for Loaded Red Fins up to Bigwater Giant Pikies. It was also my rigged eel rod for a long time. I just have too many rods that can handle heavy plugs at this point and am thinning the herd.

Good deal on a great rod.
If I didn't just buy an SSU 1081M for loaded redfins and Dannys I'd be all over this.
Good Luck

It's the same series of rods but the tip is much stiffer because of being cut down. It's awsome for casting plugs 2 oz. and better a a mile but I never liked it for pencil poppers. Too stiff IMO. Nice for heavy spooks/stick shads though.
Not sure if it's the type of thing you're looking for but you're welcome to take it for a spin like last time if you want.

thanks Mike but I like the one I got from you last time. I will probably get another one of those when I get one as I have a Sea raider that kind of fits that bill. Happy Holidays

I was on the Cape last weekend, but that's a hike for both of us. No road trip planned for the near future. If you still have it after the Holidays, we should talk, as I may be out that way and it sounds like a rod I could use, fair price too.

Luds,
I am still interested, it's the meeting aspect that's making it hard. I'll keep watching, if you have this after Christmas, I may be headed to New Hampshire, I could take a little detour on the 27th. We'll see

Mike, what kind of older Gibbs might you be looking for? I have old jointed dannys, 3 ounce bottles, trolling swimmers, etc... all older produciton, many NIP or re-wired with modern hardware.

Interested in the jointed dannies. Most interested in dannies, pencils, and needlefish. Willing to listen to any offers though.

Wish I could, but my fishing spending this winter is limited.
