This is insane. Guy’s balls are bigger than his brain. I couldn't imagine the rush, fear, excitement, etc......
(Niko, don't get any ideas!!!)

Story was posted on Bloodydecks and well worth checking out.

				 | Also probably highly illegal. I'm willing to bet if he did it in U.S. water he did not have a general or harpoon category license and its impossible to get a tuna license in Canada. |

				 | If it was legal the only thing I would have been bothered by is it should have been a head shot so there was less damage to the money part of the fish. |

He says in the article that he shot one in the Strait of Gibraltar that dragged him 15 miles…….. |

				 | One of the rumors is they "lost" the fish on the way back to the dock moving it with the davit.
Or... 'hey this is highly illegal'... "oops" it fell overboard.
My understanding is the Canadian's don't mess around with giant tuna regs!

guy has balls, but freediving has killed a few braincells me thinks...

				 | I don't know what the regs are in the Med where he claims to have speared another one. Anyone else notice that his "special" spear is just an old fashion lilly iron, and he mounted it to a piece of wood. Guess he never saw a harpoon? |
