Question Round Rasp Bit?

Making some poppers with a cupped mouth and I am looking for a round rasp bit 1 inch in diameter??? Is there any such animal??? Have tried Beaver Woodworking, Home Depot, my Woodcraft catalogue.......the only size I found was approximately 1/2 inch and it is a real labor to get the exact "cup" that I am looking for (not to mention a little dangerous if I am not careful!

PS-I did the search thing already.

one of those flat ended (spade bit) drill bits. Round the edges with a belt sander drill your cup....

remember there is no spoon....Big fish there is no spoon....

Domination takes full concentration..

Having never made a plug I don't know if this would work or not but at times shoeing horse's can be like wood work. I would look at the attachment that they make for dremil tools. They make some round bits of varying sizes that you should be able to fit into your drill press.

I have a one inch round titanium whisker rasp that I got at the Woodworkers Club. Works great for cupping poppers. I use it in my drill press. When the whiskers fill up with dust, I brush it out with a wire brush (but I'm told that you can burn it out with a match).

try a search on this site under RASP

6 searches will come up,
try the 4th search down under "popper mouth woes"
turn to page 3 and look under Chris H post.
I bought that rasp and works good.
Good luck and careful on the drill press when using!
