The only shows I watch are on Discovery, National Geo & a few others like the one that has the show How it's made.
You couldn't pay me to watch any of these reality shows or ones like American Idol ect......
Wicked Tuna is a lot better than the stupid show they got on now, Moonshiners.

I'm not sure how his season went but I read on FB that his boat sank while at the dock. They were able to raise it but had some damage. |

Pretty good. Better than watching American idol.
They should just run a 1 hr show of rods going off. I could watch that all night. It's like a heroin junkie watching a show of people shooting up.

Was lucky enough to get an invite to the season two premier party in Boston Friday night. Real nice group of guys. Had a great time speaking with them all.

I want a reel like the guys on the Hard Merchandise. It changes colors from silver to gold and back during the fight.

I am really starting to not like this show, i think its horrible, stop the drama, stop the bs. I care about fishing. Honeslty i hope Tyler rips ralphs head off but they are really ruining the shot, and the bounty hunter is pathetic, good god man give it up retire if all you are going to whine......

I think the show showcases how absurdly dumb these guys are. Frankly I think it gives an overall poor image to the public. The intra-boat BS that is displayed on that show is not like that in real life(and most fisherman would not put up with that crap ) and makes them (comm tuna fisherman) look like a rather dim-witted group. I don't watch it anymore. Sportfish guys are a much more intelligent as a group.

Actually it happens in real life too.....in the cod charter fleet I have seen that intra-boat BS happen a few times over numbers....... |

The southwest corner is my spot. Get off it.
I was explaining to my wife how the P-town boats seem to get along just fine with the drift fishing off the race for giants. There's no fighting. Everyone drifts in an orderly fashion.

Remember, even though this is "reality TV" the story lines and much of the meaning of what is said is scripted. What you see on TV isn't necessarily representative of how those guys really are. The producers need to introduce some drama to keep the audience entertained.

On the show they argue about numbers....on the NW they leave their anchor & ball out in the same spot for days. A real PIA dropping the hook and then seeing a ball 100 yds. of your stern.
