Plugfest Bait

Hi all,The plugs on the ends had some sadness and fell in my epoxy spinner and the finish is looking sad. Buzz said he would test them for me though, thanks Phil!!! I plan on signing the others for Pat, Ben and Ty, to trade for other lures at Plugfest. With these there are some more small and large pencils for the group to trade also.

Cheers,
OD

I'm betting the fish don't mind the finish flaws...you don't even need to autograph them. thanks ODM.

 Peacock feathers

Sorry about the pic, I have a bunch of feathers if anyone is interested. There good for topping flies like sandeels or Deceiver flies. A friend made a dorado out of synthetic and used a peacock feather to the fin on the top of the fly's back. Gotta love creative people!!!

Cheers

"Pretty" dont matter much.. we all ( and I'm just as guilty as anyone) get anamoured with the "pretty".. as long as they are functional who cares...some of the greats never cared about apearance.. at least to the human eye.. only to what the fish percieved as eatable.. and in the end that is all that matters.. they will be fine!

I love the yellow over white canal specials. Hopefully I'll get down to see you tomorrow and catch up. I've had a lot going on this winter.

I gave 3 bags of plugs to the kids. They did some trading and I think Ty put his bag of plugs in Andy's car.
That's a good sign.....

I kept one small pencil just in case somene didn't like the "yellow speckled brown trout" that I put into the raffle, kinda like the guy who didn't like the "Barbie" plug last year.... Buzz won the "yellow speckled brown trout, so I gave the pencil to Fishbones boy Jason. Oh and the "Honeycomb" went to Danny the door man, he does a great job!

My plan was not to trade any lures for myself, although I did score a nice darter from Blondterror, Thanks again Chris!!! Also got my giant plastic from Niko!!!

Had a great day and learned a bunch! Good to see everyone also!!!

Cheers,

Mike, it was great seeing you and thanks again for the plug you gave Jason. He was so excited when he got home he wanted me to put hooks on it right away.
