Do people on PEI actually fish for these things or do they just feed them and throw hookless plugs at them. This is the second video that I have seen on Youtube that involves Giants being fed but not hooked.

They have an extremely restricted season. It usually last only a few days.

The season was two days this year and fishing for them is commercial only, no recreational fishing for BFT in Canada.

On second thought, half a mil in inventory isn't that much considering $40 Shibuki's, $60+ poppers, $1000 Smith/Carpenter/etc rods.  |
