				 | I have the Fuji Finepix s3000 and would NOT recommend it.
Look into the delay from "trigger" squeeze to actual shot being taken. Mine is like 2 seconds You miss a lot of good shots |

				 | I've got the fuju finepix 510, no problems for outside pics, but lousy for indoor pics.no matter what you get, I highly recommend getting rechargeable batteries (Ni-mh I think) cause these cameras go thru batteries like beers at a tailgate party.

 | That's one of the things I like about my Sony, goes a real long time on batteries. My Fuji ate them like you said. |

My WR has gotten wet rain, waves...not underwater but wet and NO problems, yeah you can take video with it , it has a small lcd screen in the back to see what pic came out like , you can delete and retake..it is VERY good on batteries , regular ones. But it is VERY easy to use , i've got lots of nice photo's with it...now if I could only figure out posting them on these sites johnny |

Fujifilm S-5100 Have had it for a year now. Most amazing camera that I've ever owned. SLR capability. Short Movie capability. You can upgrade to 512k memory. Not sure of a Gig. I don't feel as tho I was screwed...by a long shot. |

I got a Pentax Optico 43 WP off of eBay for $183. It's a really good camera for dragging along while fishing. The 33WP is now available off the internet as "refurbished" by Pentax; w/ a warranty, for about $120.
Best part is they both take regular AA batteries and I use regular 1700mha rechageables and they last a LONG time.
 Good Luck!

				 | My Sony DSC-P8 3.2 MP with MPEGMovie VX has been good to me. The 3X zoom is sufficient enough. It's not waterproof, or even water resistant though. It IS, however pretty tough. On my last trip out about 10 days ago, I had 6-8 ft rollers in Vineyard sound and the cam went flying off the dash and landed against the transom (I'm lucky it didn't fly right outta the BOAT!). It sustained a small dent/knick in one corner, but still funtions perfectly. Ya can't beat the LI battery either. |
