				Plugfest Feb 16th 2008

Many of you don't want to wade thru that long thread and I don't blame you.
The plugfest will be at the Carver Sportsman club in Carver Mass. this year. We moved it to a bigger and cheaper facility thanks to MikeCC.

here are the directions http://www.carversportsmen.com/Directions.htm
from their site http://www.carversportsmen.com/
Same thing as last year
Start in the morning and go until the afternoon. Maybe Mike can fill us in on the time but usually around 9 AM to about 3 - 4 PM

Pay a few bucks to get in, put on your nametag and bring some food, then go drool over plugs.
We will have the contest again this year and would like to get more participation this year if we can.

A food thread will be made in a couple of weeks I suppose but think about what you may like to contribute.

We will need someone to take care of the Nametags.

Need someone to run the contest.

Need some people to do a demo or 2 or 3.

Need some equipment for demos.

Need volunteers to help clean up afterwards.

It's getting close.

Let's get NIB to come again, he has been missing the past few years.
And maybe Bernzy and Ryan Smith could try to make it

				Nametags

I was one of the people to suggest them and I offered to supply at one time and am still willing to do that. I was thinking those "hello my name is" or "hello" colored ones would work. Any other ideas? Plain white labels would work too. Can I suggest we have them at the sign in/pay table at the front and people take one write their name/screen name on it and stick it on their shirt?
I can also bring my old plug display if people are interested. I have a 3'x4' display case I brought last year. I've got some new stuff to put in there to mix it up some. I would need 1/2 a table to set that up.

 Eric

Eric, absolutely, bring both. I thought someone else suggested nametags. We will need them, and a pen too. |

Wife's Birthday....
If your going to build plugs you need to get your priorities straight.

My wife tried to pull that crap for that day too, but I told her "Honey, I know this is important but that day is Plugfest....so you'll have to call the doctor back up and tell him to reschedule that "C" section for Monday morning"

Its all about prioritizing |

She will have a better understanding of what makes you tick. Course, my wife has that understanding and won't go anywhere near it. |
