Ronnie, your comment made me curious. Do you doubt my statement about this being a genuine OEM Merc part? Just to be sure, did a little research and it seems from what I found, many genuine Mercury Marine parts including their controls have been made in Korea for quite a few years now.
I know you're not interested in buying this item, but thanks for your "concern". This part is in fact OEM Mercury.

Ahhh. Gotcha. Out sourcing is definitely a major problem. The gubmint allowed it to happen, now we have the current POS administration trying to get foreign countries to set up shop in the USA. Assbackwards.
