I'm printing the Times recipe right now -

I don't know if Mrs Crafty will let me create this one or not - but I'd love to give it a try.

Sounds it could make for a quick trip to a CCU, though...I'll let you know -

Thanks, Jim - I think...

I fwd'ed on to the wife who is a cooking guru...While I am sure it would be a hit with the boys I don't think it will get the "heart healthy award".

Last night at dinner I asked my son what is your favorite food...he said sausage.
Well we are having chicken tonight...I asked my son again,... What is the best part of the chicken?....the thought a moment then said: "The Skin"....yeah I think he would like the bacon explosion.

Give S-B the bacon sauce recipe!!!!

not to steal away from the greatest bacon thread of all time but...

~
I don't subscribe to POE or anything else relating to hollywood's depiction of crows and ravens... most of which is evil or blood thirsty
involving graveyards and vampires or all that same crap.

while in true life in nature they are extremely intelligent ,Hunt in packs like wolves ,and post sentries to warn others of approaching danger.

True, they are depicted as harbingers of death/doom, but they are quite intelligent.
Some only think of them based on when they see them picking at roadkill on the side of the road.
They are quite nimble, being able to chase their prey in amongst the tree branches.
(They used the crow's "cackle" as one of the sounds in "Jurassic Park" for the velociraptors.)

Bacon is such a wonderful thing. Buy the top quality smoked stuff and a little bit goes a looooooooooonnnnnggg way.

A few ounces can spike an entire table of food if you're careful.
