				 | On nebe's site it says to put them in the belly but i put them in the head as per his advice. One in the tail also like a sluggo. |

				 | depends... if its shallow, I mostly fish them unweighted- if you like a fast retrieve and want them sub surface, stick 2 sluggo weights or stainless nails in the head. If you want to use it like a zera spook, load up the belly and one in the tail. if the water is really deep (over 20 ft deep) I use a PJ wobblehead.

not to bring up the s word
but one of the reasons sluggos have done so well [ i.m.h.o. ]
 is there ability to suspend

so couldnt a surf hog eel
 be adapted (air inserts)
so they can - do the same?

				 | when i designed my eel, I made sure the chin had a slight upward angle- by having that feature, it helps the eel suspend perfectly on a medium retrieve- bring it in fast and it comes right up.. go slower and it will drop right down. Add some twitches and pauses in there and you got a weapon of bass destruction... |
