can't bring myself to do it ...

I can't delete phone numbers of friends who have passed, off my cell phone .. Sounds kind of morbid but I like seeing thier names. I don't want to forget them .. i wonder how many are doing the same thing ..

I do, not phone numbers, other things. I have some tools that my fathe rgave me that I use daily. I always smile at his memory when I use them. Same with some of Mom's things. It's a natural way of remembering those you miss and keeping just that tiny bit of them alive...

I'm the same way with my e-mail directory.

I have e-mails from people who have passed.
I haven't deleted their addresses from my book yet.
I have even saved voicemails for a long time.
I thought it was just me.

I saved a number of someone and got startled when out of the blue caller ID said he was calling, turned out to be his wife. Good people he was.

My uncle still had my aunt's voice greeting on his answering machine for about 6 years after she passed. He missed her so much he just wanted to hear her voice in the house.
