PlugFest Demo Thread

Bruce wanted me to post a thread for desired demo's for PlugFest! Do any of those attending have any wants or desires from those here to do a few demos and share some techniques, tricks and talent with the masses?? The Greek has kindly offered to do a hand carve demo which I for one would love to see?? Do we have any other ideas or requests? If so post them here!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Thru-drilling on a lathe?

Maybe a Table or 2 of various jigs and such that people use to make certain jobs easier.

Hi,
I would like to request to see some jigs for plug making. The table saw jigs look very interesting. Jigs that hold the swimmer plugs aligned so the belly and weight holes are correct. Also the home made duplicators.
Thanks,
Mike

How about a cooking class with Giada? If she isn't available I'll second the foil painting.

BUMP

Is anyone planning to bring a lathe?
I can bring mine again but it's heavy and I can't bring it if it rains.

SO, Who is doing demos?

1. The Greek- handcarves
2. I can do thru drilling on a lathe if there is a lathe there.
3. Rockfish9 will have jigs and examples of plugs at different stages of build, he will need a lot of space. I will bring my duplicator modeled after Fred aka Assinippi/fishbumwannabe.
4. J Figuliolo - worksharp 2000sharpening chisels
5. eastendlu - drillbit sharpening
6. ????

yup.. I need room.... my rigging display is 4' long.. it consists of a pair of hinged shadow boxes that are holding six different methods or rigging plugs, included in it is a jointed pikie and the steps used to produce the through wire by spreading it... each plug is cut in half to show the inner workings, there is also a completed plug of each type in the display...

I'll bring my belly hole drilling fixture, my darter jig and a few other goodies i have.. as well as a plug or two for show and Ho...

A good run is better than a bad stand!
