? on tog fishing in Newport

I have an opportunity to go tog fishing on a 6-pack boat out of Pt Judith, on a boat that fishes the Neport area. I have never been tog fishing over there, but I understand it's pretty good, and I'd like to give it a try. On the day in question, high tide in that area will be at 7:30 AM. The boat is planning on leaving Pt Judith at 6:30, so we'll be fishing mostly outgoing.
Does anyone know what that type of tide will do to the fishing, if anything? If tide matters a lot, and that's the worst possible tide, i'll probably take a pass...

				 | The fish seem to bite better on a running tide, but you may have to use some heavy sinkers depending on the phase of the moon. |

				 | Sunday doesnt look good. Could be some big swells on the grounds. I pulled my boat yesterday but am trying to ho a ride on saturday. If the boat feels comfortable the fish will be there. |
