Was shot yesterday in "80" A very sad day, I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing. we share the same Birthday

He died on a Monday night 12/8/1980. I think it was around 9pm

Not to Hijack but "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott was murdered onstage on 12/8/2004.

Dime was the legendary guitarist for Metal band Pantera and again later the band Damageplan.He was truly considered one of the best guitar players ever in all of Metal.

RIP Dime.

Bob,
I'm pretty old, and I remember getting on the bus on December 9th, 1980, and everybody was talking about it.
I really remember because Dadbomba had just finished the house that he and mom still live in, and it was one of my first days on the new bus.
I'm embarassed to say that I was nine and I had no idea who John Lennon was at the time.
I did by the time I got home.
