You forgot.. Eliot Spitzer (Dem, NY)

The press seems to gives the dems a pass ever notice that? If it was a republican that is all we would have heard about.

Give me a break

The NY Times I bought this morning had an editorial calling for him to step down. Last time I checked they were supposed to be the standard of liberal thinking.

$31,000? That's outrageous! You could spend $5,500 on a flight to Thailand, and another $5,000 for a top notch hotel and a week that would make Caligula look like Camp Disney. After returning home and spending another $500 on Penicilin, you'd still be $20,000 ahead. Spitzer is a real dope and not very fiscally responsible.

Actually, it's because the Republicans don't need to PAY for it..

I am not saying the press gives him a pass on his actions...My point was you never here the word "Democrat" when referring to him. If you watch TV when a Republican gets in trouble (and they do just as often as the dems) the press harps on "Republican" issue.

As it is the N.Y. Times broke the story only after giving Spitszer a bye for a couple of days so he could let everyone know he got caught. When would that rag let a republican know anything?

I don't think it's common for an executive to have their party after their name, it's not like President Bush has an (R) after his when it's reported.

You guys are just PO'd that when a Dem gets busted in a sex scandal it's with a younger woman and when it's a Repub the other is a MAN
