Yeah - I bought it with the intention of putting in my beach house someday. It's a quality scope, well suited for terrestrial viewing; like looking for fish or bikinis, that would be very complimentary to most any space or decor.
But, sadly, tragically, one of the realizations of mid life is that I'm not getting that beach house after all. It's got wooden legs with inserts that slide up and down - modern scopes are almost all aluminum - that's what makes it look so cool.
