Beginner's Surf Rod (2pc-9')
I have a 2 pc (graphite)Challenger surf rod. This is beginner or casual fisherman's rod and not a high end item. I fished this rod only one time and really have no use for it. The rod is rated 12-25lb and 1-4 oz, but I don't agree with the factory rating.
It is fine for smaller plugs up to 1-2 oz and 17-20 lb mono would be the highest I would recommend.
