Sept 8th North wind

Fished Sakonet and bones were around the corner with all the birds. Calm. Water The albies were at the light house on the outgoing tide .. a few birds. It’s was rocking and rolling

Neither were very picky. The 5-10 north wind was more like 10-15. Forecasted to get worse thru the week.

Morning totals. 1 slot bass 15 bones and most were as big as the albies and 3 albies. And 2 birds

Nice was hoping by Thursday it might settle down so I could run down again, last trip down few birds working small pods of bones, but it didnt last long. Thats a mess of birds in that pic, the bait the sea bass spit up last trip was tiny, did you need to go small or were they wacking anything?

They were hitting everything. The bait were pretty big. I should have taken a picture of the sounder. It was a red blob. With hundreds of bananas

Nice.
We found a pod of dink bass under some birds on very small baits last night; epoxy jigs and the hogy peanut did the trick. Another boat tossing plugs wasn't doing anything. Got tired of putting holes in them and went for a ride. No other surface activity. Not much bait at an inside spot, the big tide and north wind might have pushed it out for a bit
