not the same blank, cut down.

both are manufactured to be their own rod.

The 10'6" is lighter and throws and feels the lighter stuff better than the 1327.

The 1327 is a great rod, but doesnt handle the lighter stuff that well, loves 2.5 to 3.5oz and has big set of balls for a light rod, i use mainly in the canal for plugging and lighter jigging.

I was throwing a 1oz bucktail to big blues this am on the 1267, was tossing them great, especially for being an oz under the rating.

This could be a "one and done" rod for the surf and canal usage, I know Big Dave has been fishing a lot in the ditch and really liking it.
