Not that it would solve any problems, but with that trade not requiring a
licensed tradesman for anyone touching a tool, the door's wide open to any #^^^^& or Harry not knowing what all the little lines between the big numbers on a tape measure are to find employment.
Perhaps if the BI held that trade to a higher standard things would be different, but I imagine there just isn't enough time in a day. Or perhaps the tolerance levels for stick-framing are too loosey-goosey?
