I figured he'd be a good backup and could come in and play well, but he's brutal in that offense. He's playing the worst football I've ever seen him play. But to a man, they aren't playing very well.

Signing Sapp and Washington may be a "large" bust. Washington seems like he's getting paid with McDonald's gift certificates and I've always felt that Sapp was more mouth than motor.

I really felt like the Raiders needed to rebuild. When they brought back Rice, Gannon, and brought in Sapp and Washington, I really felt they were making a mistake. I thought they should have signed Woodson and rebuild around a younger defense. Dump all those old timers.

Of course, being a Bronco fan, I don't feel too bad.

I just have to bring up the brief conversation we had when I met you jigging for herring a couple months ago. "They (the broncos) are going to have a bad season." I think was the quote.

Well, they still might, but I like their chances compared to Raider nation. We'll just have to see if this is just another fast start by Denver's defense. The offense will come along, but for the past 3 seasons, the D has started off looking great and just ordinary down the stretch. If they dumped all this into the D and they don't remain dominant, I will be very disappointed.

To the point that I may have had it with the Mike Shanahan show.

All I know is... SOMEONE BETTER BEAT THESE DAMN PATS AND SOON!!

I may be a Sox fan, but I just can't live in this town if the Patsies win it again. I've never seen a more ordinary team just win and win and win. Even dominant teams will lose once in awhile. This team wins by the skin of their teeth every week. All I can say is they have alot of clutch players.
