The 40 is brand new, never used or even spooled up. Comes with box, bag, paperwork, Quantum reel tool, etc..

The 60 is practically new. Spooled up with 30# Power Pro last winter and my wife used it for one tide. There is a small scuff on the reel stem from sitting in the rod rack on my truck, but otherwise the reel is flawless. Comes with box, bag, paperwork, Quantum reel tool, etc...
