I think the Pats are one of the top teams in the AFC, but not due to yesterdays moves. They just normally are... Good depth, coaching, and QB play. But SB favorites?

PS, Ocho's not a deep threat... He's more of an X receiver, dig routes, curls, etc... ~12 yd avg/catch over the past three years, not going to go long. But he'll get open over the middle. You guys still need someone to stretch for Welker (Tate?).

Heck, I don't even think my Eagles are a 'favorite' yet- Road to SB goes through Green Bay, and they'll be even better this year with a number of injured players returning.
I already expected the Pats to make it to the SB this year regardless of any moves they were going to make. Last time I checked, the oddsmakers had them as the co-favorites with GB to win it all and that was before the big moves. But seriously, how can you not say the Pats are at least favorites to win the AFC? Haynesworth is downright nasty when he's playing his natural position on the outside. He will make more of an impact than Chad. BTW, Chad has almost 11,000 career yards. I would say he definitely has the potential to go deep and most analysts are saying he still needs to be accounted for down the field.

That's a joke the Jets are the best team in the East. they don't even have a QB! We crushed them by 40 points last year! Granted we still lost to them in the playoffs, but Rex was playing a zone defense that Belichick wasn't ready for. I guarantee he'll be ready this season...
