Bait in the rivers around Portland, right now. Means schoolies are under there too. Good fly fishing on lightweight tackle can be had in the estuaries at least as far north as Casco Bay. I'll be drifting the local waters this weekend. By mid June the schoolies should be pretty well into the southern waters. Big fish are more apt to be found in July. If they come inshore this season
