Nice swimmer! What are the specs on that one? How does it swim? I agree with slip on the wood, the cedars hold up better. I have used poplar in the past too. As long as you seal it well, it will hold up ok. The AYC is a little lighter and more bouyant than the poplar. Works great for swimmers, pikies, etc. I also like it for topwater spook or popper type baits.
