I would say that I am 18 and still live at home. My dad takes care of the car for me, and I had no idea about the inspection sticker. He takes care of the registration, the inspection, upkeep, and insurance for me. I have now learned that I need to be more involved so that I can keep track of this stuff. He thought it was easier since I had enough to worry about college. They may just toss the thing all together. They will probably know she already has a spotless record.
If she says she can't afford it cause it si a hardship they think she is being whiny.
