Good post John. That's why I was so pleased to find this local striper board, because there's nothing more fun (at least it should be) than exchanging ideas, stories, fishing reports, jokes or whatever with a bunch of guys that share your passion. Who cares if it's from a boat, a beach or a jetty? Who cares if it's for 2 lb fish, 8 lbers, 20 lbers or 50 lbers, we can all learn a lot from each others experiences. One thing I've tried not to do is pass judgement on anyone, but try to be helpful when I can and listen when things are discussed that could help me out. Didn't mean to flex my muscles, I've got nothing to prove and it's rare I get involved in these threads of late, but sometimes it's difficult to be silent.

Anyway, good points, let's get back to business and leave sleeping dogs lie. Tight lines.
