By a 52-21 margin, Americans think asking Ukraine to investigate Biden is an abuse of power, per USAToday poll.
The gap among independents is huge: 45%-16%.
It's even close among Republicans: 30%-40%.
Doubling down like this is ... unbelievably risky.
