word of additional advice

ANY plant can be uprooted and have its root system
completely examined ..... and then transplanted elsewhere.

what happens is though, the invisible thinner than human hair roots
die back so the top growth to root mass balance gets "OUT of balance"
making the top growth not able to be supported as is.....

trim back some top growth (20%) to account for this loss
and the plant won't suffer . Shade it for a day or two.
