All our cabinents are custom made clear pine. 23 doors. PIA painting. I stained them 50 years ago so I'm doing 2 coats of BINS shellac base primer before the paint.

We did hardwood in the dining area but 12x12" ceramic tiles in the cooking area. Works fine. I wouldn't do it in front of the sink, stove and fridge.

Did 5" crown in a few rooms in our home. What a pain when you have a cathedral ceiling and strange corners. I got it done but had to use my coping saw on every joint.
