never used clear coat

hope someone uses them....and will chime in...I'm wondering if it would make a difference if your epoxying over it...

thanks for all the help

I'm still tinkering away...moved the cut up...put the weight behind the hook hole.6grams....2x.2oz in the tail....one's got no belly weight just 3x.2oz(3inches lead)......I haven't fished eel skins...

last year

was the year of the spook...big pogys in the prov aera...I would be in a line of 50 people throwing poppers and..the blues would swim by all the poppers to hit my spook (or who ever had a spook on)...

chris I got a spook like yours that glides nice w/.24 tailweight...its just enough weight to bring the tail around...I build a bunch of huge spooks last year 4-6 oz I like to glide them, all center...

the swevel holes should be deep enough so the swevel will go up so the skin fits:)...I'm going to bet better swevels kroks...I hate when they hang:)
