First attempt at a Nike Style Plug

Took a shot in this crappy weather yesterday at making a Nike style plug.

Here is todays Test swim results, the video is not all that good as the wind was ripping so the fast current video was deleted.

I don't have any experience with the Nike to offer, but I just wanted to applaud your efforts as a builder. Nice video as well.

Looking forward to reading responses from those who've built Nikes.

I used Lou's as a starting point and wanted a bit of a diff action, so i extended the neck and moved the shoulders back and changed the weighting.

This one was out of western red for a test, i cut on out of AYC and what a difference it made in the Plug, the action got so much better. No roll and a nice dart on a tug.

BT i have not seen yours before.

Try one in white cedar, I do them both ways (AYC and White). I get a little dart action with the ones made with white cedar.
