Plug paint patterns

Got my hands on some sealed and primed lures. I sanded the first prime down and reapplied some more to even some surfaces and in a couple days would like to apply paint. I am looking for some ideas on paint colors/schemes

I was considering trying the crackle approach on at least one of them. I like the green/black crackle effect to mimic a mack. I was also considering a bunker pattern...

Anyone have any fun/uncommon suggestions?

I just picked up this crazy sheet of zebra patterned duct tape that I can't wait to make a stencil out of. Looks just like the back of a mac! I did the marble effect on 2 of my kits last winter and a crackle too! It's fun. My wife just picked up some crackle effect nail polish for me that I also can't wait to try!

I know you probably want to get fancy but I pick White. Easy and very productive. Pretty much all I fish lately and been extremely productive the past few years.

I agree with Professor here. Keep it simple and lightly get your feet wet. Makes for more fishing and less aggravation. Just my opinion

Just spray two types of different paints to get your crackle, really easy. I've used a fluorescent and a gloss and gotten some cool effects that way.

Any combination of white and yellow. All white, all yellow, yellow over white etc.. It's all you need to catch fish. Maybe splash some red on the chin.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I know the color doesn't NEED to be crazy or inventive to catch fish, but these are plugs I put no effort into making and I think investing a little time into a worth paint job would be worth it. I might just end up doing a black and a yellow over white, but I'd like to be at least a LITTLE creative.

Fish scale. Base color then spray over mesh for scale effect. I have plenty mesh if you need any.

Type of lure would be the deciding factor for me to choose a color.
