playing with classic wood atoms
going to fish some beaters I got cheap....i resealed with epoxy because i drilled and cleaned up hook holes, tryed keeping the mojo of the plug but i added eyes and etexed go they won't suck water http://i343.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps59d45e72.jpg

building up the tail that was sanded 1/4 off....the swivels were different one was the right one....it was wired with wire leader that we would use for bluefish i put 1/4 inch of a tail weight to set the epoxy onhttp://i343.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps7b0aee38.jpg

i'll try the bottom one as is and hope the swivels don't break...change the hooks lol everytime i epoxy plugs I'll add alottle to the one with the bad tail untill i can sand it right

I ignore all this myself but if you have small kids in the house you should be aware that the paint on those plugs is loaded with lead and you'd be best to sand and wipe them off outside. A few plugs would be no big deal but if you make a habit of it in too small an area things could build up in a child.

only a big kid now.....sanded out side....I've seen the lead in the x-rays :) thanks

Those plugs never had lead in them i dont think. I sanded one recently and dup à Few That are ready for paint.
