Polk Audio SDA 2B stereo speakers
3 Attachment(s)
The basement remodel is forcing me to give up my babies.
These are really cool and feature the original Polk SDA technology. There's a third cable that connects the two speakers...the outside 6-1/2" driver on each speaker sends out cancelling waves to eliminate any "cross talk" you may get from the driver on the other side to give incredible stereo separation. Put on some Floyd and you'll hear clocks going off behind your head. The 12" passive radiator is fluid coupled to the drivers so the bass response is very tight and nearly flat down to 20 hertz. They're 6 ohm so they also like a big amp. Aside from a few nicks around the bottom from being moved around they look to be in fine cosmetic and functional shape...they still sound great. $180 local pickup (pretty heavy). They were about a grand new in 1990. thanks, -spence |
Offers, also have them on craigslist.

Bump.

Gonna pass on these... too big for my needs and system. They get great reviews on-line by the way. Thanks.

Site special - trade me for a handful of good plugs and I'll toss in an Amp. -spence |
I did some research and about you said was true. They like power... that I don't have. Otherwise they'd be mine.

I always ran them on my 100W Onkyo and they did fine. They're 6 ohm though so an amp with a lot of head room can really open them up.

classicaudio.com..... Valuation..... Pioneer SX-780
Old like me. And not in a very large room either. |
Yes, that is undersized for those speakers. Take my amp also :devil2:

Looks like these aren't going to last, and I know you want them gone, but if they're still around next weekend I will have to buy them... Ridiculous deal on some great speakers!
