Emblem pro-a vs Spheros

I am trying to stay with in a budget, and i am on the fence about 2 reels the Emblem Pro-a 6000 or the Shimano Spheros FB SP8000FB
i am looking to stay under $200 if i can, and I think i would like a manual bail, this will be going on the Lami 132-1L with 40# power pro. If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.

well known that Daiwa reels cast a MILE

and they give you a spare spool as well

Love, Love, Love my Spheros reels! I have the 8000 (a couple of them) and the 5000 and I think they can't be beat for the money! Highly recommend them!

I have a spheros 8000,18000, 4000, and 6000, as well as an emblem pro 5500?. All great reels. Diawa will cast a lil better, but it is much bigger than the spheros 8000. Don't think you could go wrong w/ either reel

I have a Spheros 6000FB and use it early in the season. It's been dunked and dropped in the sand by mistake and I've never had a problem with it after a quick fresh water rinse. It's landed plenty of good size fish and I've never had a problem with the drag or felt like I was overmatched at all. I'm looking to pick up an 8000FB this winter as another extra backup to a ZB.
I've never used the Diawa, but OD Mike has one and I've seen him cast a mile and catch a bunch of fish with it. It seems really smooth, too. If I don't go with another Spheros, I'll probably look into the Emblem Pro as the extra backup.

No problems casting the Spheros at all.

spheros 8000 hands down. take it from me. i am king of the spheros dunk, and i mean prolonged dunking. can get one real cheap on ebay if you look around long enough. these things are beasts. the FB series has a manual bail pick up kit you can put on it. the FA models do not, to the best of my knowledge.
