Dear William

On January 19th, Massachusetts voters will be choosing a new US Senator to replace the late Ted Kennedy. BRPC is urging you to turn out and vote. Take your family, your friends, your neighbors, and exercise your rights by helping to select our first new Senator in 25 years!

If you value your Second Amendment rights, we strongly recommend you vote for Scott Brown, who is currently a State Senator from Wrentham. Senator Brown is A+ rated by Gun Owner's Action League and has a strong record of supporting the Second Amendment in the Massachusetts Senate. He has sponsored and supported pro-gun legislation, working with GOAL and other sportsmen associations. Senator Brown is also a member of the Massachusetts National Guard.

Finally, we'd like to remind you that Senator Brown is facing off against a particularly unsavory competitor. The Democratic candidate is the current Attorney General, Martha Coakley. Ms. Coakley has perpetuated the onerous AG gun regulations and is virulently anti-Second Amendment. You may recall that in 2008 a Massachusetts father found a stranger accosting his young son in a public restroom. The father physically ended the attempted molestation. The AG's response? "We try and discourage people from self help." Coakley is no friend of those who value self-defense or self-reliance.

Again, please vote on January 19th. This will be a very important election for Massachusetts and the nation as a whole. Make sure your voice is heard!

Thank you!

I wouldn't vote for/against someone over one issue. But I don't know how crazy some people are about their guns.

With Martha's recommendation against "self-help", those that LEGALLY own firearms will probably end up being the safest people around.

I sure feel safer knowing that I don't have to help myself, and that someone else will do it for me. (That is, of course, unless I'm 6 feet under!):smash:

Remember: "The Lord helps thos that help themselves!"
That doesn't apply to those helping themselves to my stuff!
