TheSpecialist 01-10-2010 07:07 PM

No, I already have a Hoyt, it's for sale though I may keep it too :devil2: Seriously it's either a Z7 or a Reezen 7.0 I am jumping on the bandwagon..

likwid 01-10-2010 07:09 PM

Shop down here has 5 Carbon Matrix's in stock.

Too bad its a $1600 bow. :hidin:

What else have you shot?
I LOVE my Alphamax32.

Saltheart 01-14-2010 12:58 PM

I love the longbow I made myself by hand using wood files and sandpaper! :)

TheSpecialist 01-16-2010 04:13 PM

I would like to make a longbow someday. Any way I pulled the trigger today, ordered my Z7 should take a couple of weeks they said.

I also shot a Reezen, and an Alphamax.

If a high end bow is in your site then checkout Archery Talk forum's classified.. many of them guru's change bows every year. I know guys get smokin deals, all kinda goodies in they're classified.
I'm due for a knew Bow. I've always liked Matthews. Gonna put my PSE up for sale here soon.

I dunno, my AM32 was cheaper than my Van Staal. :rotf2:

BOw is in. Just need to finish paying for it, and finish the setup.:uhuh:

That bow is something special for sure. I looked and almost pulled the trigger on the same one but.........my Bowtech does just fine and has killed plenty of creatures and my wife would have killed me. Awesome pick up I'm jealous.

I hear you on the wife thing, that's why working men invented tucksies to hide some cash, and cell phones so they don't call you at home to let you know the new bow came in . ;)

YUP, thats why Reedy's does layaways...ssssshh Whatcha dressing the bow with Bill?

fallaway rest I take it...and what else? shooting different arrows too. I wonder what that bow is gonna get for speed.

A Quad Angle site, and a Vital gear Kazaway rest. The rest is pretty slick it is a full containment drop away.

Gonna try a bunch of different stabilizers, and the arrows I already have are supposed to be spined enough Using Carbon Force Radial X weaves for now.

If I was in MA I'd let you play with some of my toys.

That said, get a B-Stinger. 10.25" 11oz.
You'll be amazed how well you hold X's and Vitals. :hihi:

What spine are your CF's?

Gimme full specs (draw weight/draw length) and I'll run OT2 on your bow if ya want, just gimme a list of arrows you'd want to use :)

Just put an Axcel Armortech HD Pro on my Alphamax. Love it to death. Great bright pins and easy to set.
Running a ripcord for now but think I'm gonna try the Vaportrail Limbdriver for a rest.

TheSpecialist 03-07-2010 07:38 PM

Draw length is 29, 60 lbs and the arrows are 200.

I will be buying some new arrows this fall just not sure what but leaning towards Beeman ICS hunters..

I will check out the Bstinger

I actually like the ICS Camo hunters.
I've put one through a fence, through a root and its still intact and straight.

Beman ICS Camo Hunters 400 spine 28.5 in length 100g tip should put you around 410-415g
(My 27's with 2" fusions, vibrake inserts and 100g field tips are 405)

likwid 03-20-2010 12:48 PM

Coming soon:

http://www.soloarqueria.com/tienda/i...urner-camo.gif

:hihi:

It'll have (basically a clone of my AM32 except in black and the bow will be blackout)

10.5" 12oz B-Stinger
Axcel Armortech HD Pro
Vaportrail Limbdriver
Stone Mountain strings
