how's the shoulder?

BigFish 05-01-2007 07:24 AM

No!:jester: Waiting for the fools to "confirm" my diagnosis....man they take their sweet ass time! Order an MRI speedy quick asap and they take 2 days to read it!!! Meanwhile I am sitting here in pain with a right arm I can't use!!!!!!!!!!!:af: :lossinit: :wall:

MrHunters 05-01-2007 07:33 AM

not the time of year to be dealing with that chit either.

beginning of last season was my back... mid to end was my shoulder.

so i empathize with the added frustration.

Raven 05-01-2007 04:02 PM

what kind of meds you on?

did you ask about the patches.... +- NO :bc:

fish4striper 05-01-2007 04:08 PM

I hurt my shoulder a few yrs ago. Incredible pain, mri, all kinds of checks, they couldnt find anything wrong, said just a strain and i didn't even know how I did it. With physical therapy took months to feel ok enough to fish.

BigFish 05-01-2007 04:10 PM

Oh......I will fish! If I have to cast with my feet and reel with my teeth....I will fish!:uhuh:

gone fishin 05-01-2007 05:58 PM

Larry's in trouble -:realmad: - cannot spin the dupe or spray the plugs. You will have to fish conventional this year even if you didn't want to.:humpty:

How did you screw up your arm?

Karl F 05-01-2007 06:18 PM

Sounds like the Patient, needs some Patience...

Listen to the Doctor.. and don't hate him.. "Don't shoot the messenger".. as it were.. and do what he says.. or.. there might be MORE down time, in your future...

Trust me on this.. I know of what I speak.. first hand.

fishonnelsons 05-02-2007 07:26 AM

Went to the Doc the other day, seeing double on the left side for a week (not from drinking).

Pronto, that day, he sends me to the eye guy, "might be something between the brain and eye, get it checked asap".

The eye guy looks, says we need to see a neuro-optomalogist pronto, they'll set it up. Get the call the next day - JUNE 11th - talk about $%#@&ASAP.

Went $%^&#, they call around, got an appt the next day, although in Boston was with a pro. Now waiting MRI results, maybe I should drink more.

Karl F 05-02-2007 02:11 PM

Wow Rich.. I hope you get some answers.. soon..

Will you be in the shop Sat. AM????

Now.. if you are going to drink more.. try Belle de Brillet.. ask the Senior one.. "Lesbian Nectar".. we call it.. ;)
sip on a small glass in the evening.. will sooth your vision :D

Water? what's that? Something to keep fish in?

fishonnelsons 05-03-2007 07:25 AM

Yea Karl, I'll be in the shop this weekend, charging double for everything though!!!

Doc called last night, tests show nothing, maybe imflamation of the eye muscle, "wait 2 weeks and come back to see me."
