If I didn't already have a vise,,, this looks like it would hold a jig for thru drilling nicely

I still don't understand why people thru drill in a drill press. I know it works but so does a hand drill, sorry Mac, at least he uses it like a lathe. Lathe is the way to go imo, especially if you are doing plugs over 6 inches. Must be a pia doing long plugs in a drill press. P.
