Alright!! Enough Rain Already!!!

I have had about enough friggin rain for one summer! Seems like once a week we get a minimum of 3 inches!!!:hs: Please make it stop now!:lossinit:

Karl F 06-07-2006 07:23 AM

frikkin rain is right! I can only remember one other time 15-20 years ago, that it rained as hard here as it is right now...
3 inches, think we have had that in the last half hour!
ain't kiddin!
I'm 101 feet above sea level, 2 miles from the beach, but I'll be getting stripers in the backyard at noon, at this rate!

Mike P 06-07-2006 07:51 AM

Blowing NE at about 30 here. Can't imagine what it's like along the beaches  :eek5:

Dogs and Cats falling from the sky...

Slipknot 06-07-2006 04:22 PM

:wall: it rained so hard that the water came in my bulkhead and flooded the basement some. I've seen enough rain for quite a while. Worse, it didn't even phase those catipillars, they are still crawling around even on the roof.

nightfighter 06-07-2006 04:31 PM

No way Bruce.... I was just gonna type that at least maybe it would drown some of the caterpillers..........

Karl F 06-10-2006 12:54 PM

enuf, is enuf... but the weatherman says more coming next week....
(and I got it off....:smash:
guys, stop at the canal, and rinse them caterpillars off your trucks... sorry for your grumpage with them, but so far, so good down here.

only good news with all of this, 6 inches of rain in one day, and my basement stayed dry.. wioth the new room all done, and fresh carpet, I woulda had major grumpage... if.. thankfull, I be.

ProfessorM 06-10-2006 02:24 PM

Hey Karl the caterpillars are all over Pocasset at work so they are over the bridge and heading your way. It is a good thing I am not suicidal or I would have hung myself by now:hang: with all this miserable weather . 3 springs in a row now. Possible tropical storm by Thurs. Bruce take me away from here to fish on the beach. Paul

vineyardblues 06-10-2006 02:53 PM

basswipe 06-11-2006 07:15 AM

It was nice to finally fish lastnight without having to be fully suited up.

kevin d 06-11-2006 10:17 AM

Its 1115 and its 92 degrees. We haven't had rain in 3 weeks. The good side of this is not too many mosquitos and you don't have to cut brown grass :)

fishsmith 06-24-2006 04:19 PM

I finally have water front property :whackin: its more like a mote, but for I think that's still waterfront property. With the grace of God I won't lose power so the sump pump can keep doing its thing.

New project - better drainage.

Once that project is complete, a drought is sure to follow.

Raven 06-25-2006 06:26 AM

stripersnipr 06-25-2006 09:11 AM

The Frogs have moved into my swimming pool. They are chlorine white but that doesn't seem to bother them. Think maybe its an amphibian plot to take over our world?

Squid kids Dad 06-25-2006 09:41 AM
