If you ever get your hands on some, grab it! The grain is unbelivable :conf:

I've been messing around with some needles and I have been experimenting with a few types of wood, one of which was a light mahogany. The guy wasn't sure what type it was, but it felt like it is was about 1/3- to 1/2 the weight of his other mahogany. It sure does look pretty, I'm not sure how it will work out, but time will tell...

NIB, lemme know how you like the Spanish Cedar. We use it for outter sill replacements or dutchman repairs. Will be on lookout for scraps

Sudsy jaeger in Belmar on 12 th has the spanish.I think I read somewhere it is used to line cigar boxes.
Its nice wood to work with.light.has lots of pinholes in it.had minimal ill effects from test swimmin a peice that was not sealed.in other words the grain only slightly raised an easily sanded smooth again which is rare..
