newb question
i've noticed that people use 2 styles of lips ( straight and bent) for dannys. how do the 2 affect the action ? making 3 oz flat nosed and round nosed plugs. thanks. don

Original danny lips are the z-lip type (i.e., they have two bends in the them). Not sure of the straight lips that you mentioned. Do you mean the colorado blades that some people use on plugs? If so, the z-lip will cause the head to dig a little on retrieve in addition to the wobble and roll. Roll will depend on several factors, including shape of the lip. The z-lip can also be used subsurface. Colorado blade, or surfster lips, will create a wider wobble and more roll. These are strictly surface plugs.
