Cheferson -
Just FYI. I looked for one last year and the ones I found in the want ads were junk. Someone told me to check out Sears dent and scratch center here in my own home town. I picked up an unused one with a 6 inch dent on it's side for $79.00. Works great, locks, is under warranty and smell like bait! I know it was $79, but it was a lot cheaper that a pretty one I'll probably trash anyway. |
Thanks bro. If you in that store wanna see if any around for me?
Thanks |
Will do. I'll be down that way Monday afternoon. I'll let you know
|
Thanks i really appreciate it bro. How far are you from narragansett?

Sorry Cheferson but no go right now. Sears didn't have any in right now because they are not a big seller and or denter in the winter. He said he had two or three in all winter but they're gone now. I left my number and he will call me if he finds one or one comes in.
I live in Shrewsbury which is right next to Worcester. I bought a boat in Tiverton and will be heading down to get it in a few weeks. If things work out, or your going to the MSBA show, I will bring it down in my truck. We just have to wait till one comes in I guess. |
Thanks bro, let me know. Probally not gonna be at the show , but im fairly close to tiverton. STop at the provender deli at foure corners, reallly good sandwhichs.

Ok Cheferson I just got back from Sears. They had 5 in stock and expect more but the store is jammed with appliances and they have no room.
There are as follows - 1. Very large Westinghouse that was a new/special order that was never picked up. Large like bait store large. $269.00 2. Very large Kenmore that was damaged and is new. Another very big one that would be tough to fill. $279.00 3. One medium sized Frigidare that is used and damaged. No idea on that one but cost $149.00 4. Another upper tier large model that some old bit<h lady wouldn't move so I could see. Cost was $239.00 5. Small Galaxy brand medium sized cooler that was new and damaged. Cost $129.00 Size was good for a homeowner but I know nothing about the brand and the bottom front was banged up good. Just cosmetic though. The salesman told me that he has some of the smaller and medium sized ones coming in as soon as he has the room. I'd wait because those large ones are just too frigging big. I can keep checking back and let you know if you want. The store is only 2 miles down the road. |
How big is the medium sized one? How far from newport are ya?
Thanks again |

I didn't take measurements but the inside has got to be 2 feet wide by three feet long. It's probably 3-4 feet deep inside. But heck I was never good with measurements. Let's just say it's large enough to store or freeze a few hundred herring or mackeral in layers. By the way, you may want to check some of the stores down your way. On a hunch, I walked into Vin's TV and appliances near my house and found a Frigidare model of medium sized for $149.00 out the door. No damage, same size I have and it comes with a 5 year warranty. I bet if you check around you can find a simillar one where you live. I also just heard that Home Depot carries them. Matt |
Thanks. Its gonna have to wait now as i have to drop $580 for 4 new ball joints on my money pit of a truck.

ok.
