Best day so far more baits arrived and bass these were caught where no Pogies around. The bigger fish was caught on a flutter spoon

Nice, my focus now is getting sea bass, while they are close and easy access. Launched today at 6 and had my limit by 7, home by 8:30 and still got 18 holes in. Not much current, all came in 30 feet slow trolling 6” pink jerk bait on a 3/4oz jig head.

That sounds like fun! sadly it’s not worth the gas in the boat or the Truck for the distance I need to go to get 4 fish .

Especially when bass are a 2 miles down the river

Ten day forecast looks like crap. Might just pull cover and finish up all my projects before launching for season. 20-30 NE for the weekend here.

It’s been an odd couple of days since my last post. Killed it last Saturday stayed home Sun Mon. Went Tuesday with Ray had steady action with slot to 36 in bass .
Yesterday perfect morning got lots of love Pogies. And that’s were it ended completely skunked . Seems everyone is providence River or out front. Brenton Reef.

Going out soon hopefully things pick up

Still waiting for bait to show up north of the Bridges

So far not enough bait to interest the big bass to stick around .

Hopefully I’ll sneak out Thursday and things will be more positive

Todays the 14th of June and still no bait north of the Bridges

Found 1 spot holding bass the last 2 weeks no sure why? Caught them on spoons and live pogies(from Bristol harbor. ) work best
But no big ones. All 32 to 34 inches
