Super Bowl

I guess I'm a Denver fan today. Seattle seems way too punkish, should be a good game. Best part is we're grilling some good steaks and sipping shine :).

nightfighter 02-02-2014 03:18 PM

The last game in the Pigskin Pick'em season. Been fun this year. Hope to get more playing next year....

I'm on Seattle. Both NFC teams were playing smashmouth defense in the conference championship, and defense wins these games historically. Not a Peyton hater. But going with Seattle and over, 31-27

WESTPORTMAFIA 02-02-2014 03:18 PM

My money is on denver -2. I know a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy. They have not one single bet on Seattle yet. If Seattle wins the books are gonna be pretty happy.

You got 2, Jay? It is 2.5 every place I looked. I think the book is pretty evenly matched, or it would have moved up. Heard more Seattle money came in last weekend and early this week.

Raider Ronnie 02-02-2014 03:29 PM

1st time in many years as a Raiders fan I have something to celebrate on super bowl sunday.

The greatest punter the game has ever seen is going into the hall of fame.

nightfighter 02-02-2014 03:40 PM

Ray Guy?

Just googled it. Yes, he was the best. Unbelievable extension.

Saltheart 02-02-2014 03:44 PM

Same problem applies this week as in all the playoff games against Denver. You cannot cover their receivers. You have to stop the passing game by pressuring the QB (manning) or you will get swamped by a tidal wave of scoring. Seattle has the traditional make up of a championship NFL team but the Denver receiving quad is something we have never and may never see the likes of again. Traditional tough nose football will not win it for the Seahawks.. Sack Manning or go home with their heads down.

Denver by 7.

Could throw the ball the length of the field also.
He used to hang around after practice tossing balls and Stabler & the other QBs they had used to sneak out and watch in awe !
Great all around athlete.

Yup- the very best.

I don't know what you think

but this many commercials and so little game

just SUCKS

nightfighter 02-02-2014 08:02 PM

BOOM! Denver hasn't got a clue as to what hit them. And Seattle's offense isn't exactly lighting it up...... Going to be an air show in the second half.

Anyone who has 8-0 or 2-0 for squares thought they were screwed are counting their money now.....

Well that score made it interesting for the square pools.... Clock had 0:00 at the end of the 3rd when the TD AND the 2 point conversion were scored.....

Jackbass 02-02-2014 09:26 PM

Russel Wilson is who everyone thought Colin Kaepernick was going to be

Incredible waste of time watching that game. Worst SB game in years.

Best Game of Schadenfreude I've seen in years!

Defense wins you championships.

I was pulling for Seattle and Pete C. as the thought of Manning with a super bowl ring makes me nauseous

He already has one.

Raven 02-03-2014 02:54 PM

yes and that one alone had severely gone to his head.....
so much so, that a second one woulda made his head so big
he wouldn't be able to do car commercials ever again :uhuh:
