Metal lips. Who needs 'em?
 

I've posted about it before and gotten all kinds of opinions. But I've finally found a metal shop that can make me quality lips in both smaller and large quantities. So, who needs 'em?

Smaller runs are more costly per unit, but cheaper setup costs. Large runs require tools/forms to be made, but drastically improves the cost per unit. Stainless steel prices haven't been treated nicely these past few years, so we're doing the best we can.

Getting the tooling made isn't cheap, but I think worth it. I've started with small runs of the few sizes/shapes that interest me the most. Basic Danny style in three sizes, nothing fancy. Next step is larger runs of those same lips. Beyond that, I'm willing to get new lip designs drawn up and into production if I know someone is going to be interested.
