I traded with WoodyCT at Plugfest for a sweet gold G2 Skinny that he made this winter. I had to clone his clone so I can perpetuate this great design. These are now ready to thru wire and then etex tonight can't wait to try them from my yak in BH in May/June

Very nice work as always, Chris.

Making some nice plugs Chris! I like your work!!

For historical accuracy, I think gary2 copied (and upsized a bit) the BM schoolie, which in turn was a surface version knockoff of the Gibbs trolling swimmer.
The plugs swim well, but cast poorly in my limited experience with them.

One of my goals this spring, to get a keeper from the yak in BH or one of the south side rivers. My parents have a few cheap yaks not fitted with the rod holders. When I get one fishing functional, it would be great to join ya sometime!

sweet plugs by the way what are they guna weigh when wired and hooked?

Johnny-

They weigh just under 2 oz with cut 3/0s and a sparse flag on the tail.

I would definitely be up for a yak session on BH in may/June when the fish are back

Really like these...

I have one of Woodys slims. Nice looking and design features a profile which should emulate the early herring and alewive run this spring.
