Very surprised to not see any feasting birds.

nice cool video thanks for sharing

chaz 04-01-2013 06:31 PM

looks like middleboro

Moses 04-01-2013 07:41 PM

Yup Middleboro, they just added that nice new wall. Was there 2 weeks ago.

ProfessorM 04-01-2013 07:44 PM

don't miss dragging those darn things up that hill at all. I'm done fishing herring if they ever open it again. Plenty of lures to take their place and a lot less work.

BBC nice cleavage.

Canalman 04-01-2013 10:16 PM

It's a beautiful thing and I'm with you Paul, nice cleavage!

And, I'll never fish live herring again either... what a chore!

bloocrab 04-01-2013 10:40 PM

I hope to live long enough to fish them again (Definitely a "Save the Bait" guy, so only when it's deemed above recovered, if that's even possible)...say what you want, but I enjoy fishing live bait. Something about trying to read the vibration coming off the line...knowing when they're being harassed, the feeling of anticipation while waiting for that paralyzing tail slap. It's a rush for me. Sorry to all you herring-huggers...I miss it.
Whether it be herring, scup, mackerel, pogys, what-have-you, I enjoy it.
Thanks for the video.

Canalman 04-01-2013 11:03 PM

Gilly,

I still fish live baits all the time... I just don't miss catching and caring for those little bastids... ugh. :)

bloocrab 04-02-2013 12:21 AM

I hear ya Dave, "pimpin' ain't easy"...:D

It can definitely be a LOT of work. You'd never know it unless you lived it. The guys who only waited in line, have no idea. Of course, I'm not proud of everything I did...but fishing can be :devil2:

Went to a popular spot on Sunday morning. Just spotted a couple around. On the adjacent roadleading away from the water I saw a spotty trail of water (as in spillage from a 5 gal bucket) that didn't belong there that made me wonder . . .

Middleboro Herring Run 4/3/13 - YouTube

Took this today with my GoPro at the Middleboro Wareham St run.

PRBuzz 04-04-2013 06:04 AM

Mojo7: which GoPro do you have, the original one? Just curious as playback is only possible with 720P not 1080P. Or is it the way you programmed the GoPro?

It's the Hero HD. I'm still learning how to use it but it's on the R4 setting which I read was the better one to put it on? Any help you could offer on settings would be great.

Moses 04-04-2013 07:21 AM

Cool videos! I need to purchase a GoPro

Pretty sure that is the highest 720P on that version of the GoPro.

The R4 says it's 960p and the highest setting R5 says it's 1080p on the screen.

Subsurface508 04-04-2013 07:18 PM

Saw the Middleboro latter just chalked full today. Not a seagull in sight. Lol! Pretty soon boys, They're right on time.
